Ka Hikitia Consultancy Services Ltd was founded and developed by an identified need for our service, derived from working across the health and social sectors.
The need for strong Māori leadership, innovation, transformation and the voices of lived experience and communities in co-design and strategic planning was evident and this has driven our passion for expansion and growth.
‘Ka Hikitia’ means ‘to lift up’ and is often referred to by practitioners and clinicians to support those in need through mana enhanced therapeutic practice.
Ka Hikitia was thoughtfully chosen as our name in recognition of promoting better health outcomes for Māori whilst acknowledging and elevating our whānau and communities’ experiences to inform how we can contribute to improving wellness.

Ngā atua cards are designed to help individuals connect with the strengths and abilities of ngā atua, to support their personal growth, strengthen their identity and to improve their well-being. These cards serve as a tool to draw upon the unique qualities and teachings of each atua, allowing individuals to incorporate these divine attributes into their daily lives.
Each card features an atua and provides insights into the specific characteristics, stories, and wisdom associated with that atua. By engaging with these cards, individuals can find inspiration and guidance from the atua, enhancing their spiritual connection and cultural understanding.
